Riparian Preserve in Arizona is one of the coolest parks in Gilbert! it’s located on Guadalupe Rd and east of Greenfield Rd. it was established in 1999 to preserve wildlife and water sources around the area. There are also educational programs and fun things to do there!

I love photographing families there in the spring!

The preserve is HUGE. It has 110 acres of the most unique sights. If you want to check out the preserve, go on the 4.5-mile trail that takes you to different zones like vegetation zones, paleontology digs, and a butterfly garden!

The preserve has about 298 species of birds and other animals like reptiles, bunnies, and even cool insects. Remember to wear lots of bug spray before going to visit.

The Gilbert Rotary Centennial Observatory (GRCO) is the newest and latest addition to the Preserve. This facility is available for a variety of public programs. This includes education programs and cool ways to see the universe. Yes, I’m talking about a huge telescope in there!
