All of our sessions take place in one of our beautiful partner studios located in the Phoenix area (Mesa or Tempe) which is just a short drive from Phoenix, Chandler, Scottsdale, and Tempe. It’s easy to find, has free parking, and gives you the comfort (and air conditioning!) of an indoor studio without having to brave the desert heat. Once your booking is confirmed, you’ll receive the exact address along with easy arrival instructions. Each space is private, peaceful, and fully styled to give you the full portrait experience.

Is it really worth doing a studio family photoshoot?

100% yes. This isn’t your typical “everyone stand in a park and smile” session. A studio session is relaxed, styled, and designed to capture your family in a timeless, magazine-worthy way. What’s the best time of year for family photos in Phoenix?

Since we shoot in a controlled studio, we’re not tied to seasons — which means no melting in August or racing against sunset in the winter. There’s no wrong time to capture your family — newborn snuggles, toddler giggles, or even those ‘too cool’ teens you want to freeze in time. I tailor each session to your family’s stage, so everyone feels seen and celebrated!

How far in advance should I book a family session?

Most clients book 1–3 months in advance, especially for fall or holiday sessions. Since I only take a limited number of shoots each month to give every client a luxury experience, I always recommend reaching out early — even if you’re not 100% sure of your date yet.

Can I bring my dog to our family photoshoot?

YES! Pets are family too, and I love including them in studio sessions. I recommend bringing a leash, treats, and possibly a second person to help with handling when your pup isn’t in the shot. We’ll plan ahead so everything runs smoothly.

Can grandparents or extended family join the shoot?

Absolutely! Whether you want to add a few shots with grandparents or include cousins for a generational portrait, we’ll chat during the consult to plan for everyone you want to include
